About Me

My photo
Brenda Bufalino
I've been an artist of multi genres for my whole life, and began dancing, singing, writing and performing these when I was around 8 years old with my mother and my aunt in our concert "The Strickland Sisters," My mother was a singer and a monologist her story telling inspired me to always write my own stories and recite them. I have two books published "Tapping the Source...tap dance stories, theory and Practice," and a book of poetry "Circular Migrations," available from Amazon and on my website brendabufalino.com. Also on my website are many instruction and concert DVD's of my solo shows and my company The American Tap Dance Orchestra which toured Internationally for over ten years. I have an Etsy shop bufalinoUNEARTHED where I sell my functional/art ceramics. I create in a barn in the Shawangunk Mountains my soul lodges in these rocks, and I have an apartment in New York City, where i mentor for the American Tap Dance Foundation where I also teach. I choreograph for many other companies and solo performers internationally.
